Pineapple indulgence

If an orange with a straw in it on “Tropicana” orange juice box seems enticing to you, you’ll definitely like the idea of Pina Colada served in a carved pineapple.

This unusual drink is available at Piramide Mexican restaurant at the corner of 5th avenue and 12th street and it will cost you only 10 dollars, which is a great price for a double-size drink.

The top of a pineapple is cut off and flesh is taken away. The juice from the pineapple goes into the blender. In a couple of minutes, delicious, all-natural Pina Colada is ready for you!

The taste of the drink is very unusual. You have three distinctive flavors in your mouth: fresh “squeezed” pineapple juice, sweet coconut and light house rum. If you push the straw down to the bottom, you can taste pineapple juice right from the fruit, which complete the pleasure of your experience.

Just don’t forget that it contains a double portion of alcohol, compared to a regular size Pina Colada.

Taste it, but don’t get wasted!
